Kodiak Looks East
Don Pagel, President and CEO of Kodiak Thermal Technologies, Inc. recently spent a week in China traveling to Beijing, Wuhan, and Nanjing looking for marketing and manufacturing opportunities for Kodiak. “The opportunities are vast in this growing economy,” noted Pagel. “The need for cold chain transportation is huge due to the explosive growth of their biotech industry. Kodiak can play a major roll here.” Two projects have already started in China and Korea and more interest is developing daily.

Kodiak Advantages: Tamper Evident Locking System Value Point: Tamper Evident Latches Another key added value that the Kodiak R36 cold chain shipping container employs is its tamper evident locking system.
The same latches that enable the opening and closing of the lids are also designed to accommodate numerous types of tamper evident latches. Kodiak uses Healthmark Industries Cynch-Lok pull tight locks. When this or a similar type of tamper evident lock is used with the Kodiak R36 container, this will give you the assurance and peace of mind of knowing that you payload has not been opened and tampered with. With heightened security concerns this is an added feature that insures your valuable cargo has not been compromised. This also prevents unintentional opening of the container which disturbs the internal temperature, which in turn could affect the integrity of the payload. With the tamper evident locking system in place, this alerts logistics and warehouse personnel that this particular shipment should not be opened until it reaches its intended end user. All Kodiak cold chain shipping containers provide added value in many ways.
